Both actresses graduated from what is now Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts and say Howard inspired the positive representation of Black women they bring to their roles. Famed artist Radcliffe Bailey who made Atlanta his home has died. Bailey who received international acclaim for his remarkably impressive and prodigious body of work, which includes a mammoth mural at the world’s busiest airport, Atlanta Hartsfield, welcoming visitors and giving them a glimpse of the cultural treasures in the Capital of the South passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
