Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law Files Complaint Against CFPB to Compel Documents under FOIA Related to the Payday Loan Rule

On Tuesday, July 2, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law filed a complaint against the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (“CFPB”) in order to compel documents from the CFPB that were granted to the Lawyers’ Committee through the Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”).
