Under the auspices of Broward County Commissioner Hazelle P. Rogers, the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, in partnership with Island SPACE Caribbean Museum, will present Emancipation Day: Freedom Across the Caribbean on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center in Fort Lauderdale.
