Tyra Banks is taking a second go at the talk show circuit with “The FAB Life” (fun and beautiful), set to air this fall. The supermodel-turned-businesswoman’s last name couldn’t be more perfect, as her new show has already been cleared in over 70% of the country. The official news release reveals that Banks will “will lead a panel of diverse lifestyle experts—social media buff and foodie Chrissy Teigen, fashionguru Joe Zee, interior design professional Lauren Makk, and do-it-yourself YouTuber Leah Ashley.” Tyra and her hosts will welcome everyone from celebrities to everyday people to share their knowledge and partake in the hour-long fun.
“Local station interest and resulting sales for “The FAB Life” have been outstanding,” said Janice Marinelli, president, Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution. “We are enormously pleased to collaborate with such a stellar group of stations and look forward to introducing this fresh and entertaining lifestyle show to viewers across the country next fall.” Sales of the show to date include 24 out of the top 25 markets.
While “The FAB Life” is a welcomed show among Tyra’s millions of fans, the announcement isn’t much of a surprise. The “America’s Next Top Model” producer is always on the grind. Just recently she tweeted that she’d be on HSN Feb. 19 and 20 to promote her newly launched makeup line, TYRA Beauty. It was alsoreported that Banks would be partnering with VH1 to produce a docuseries, TransAmerica, on various women and their transgender experience.
