Dear Students, Parents, and Community Partners,
On May 17th at 7pm, LEAD Nation will host our inaugural #IamCHANGE Youth Townhall with former CNN Anchor Soledad O’Brien in Partnership with Broward College and WEDR – 99 Jamz at Broward College – South Campus.
The purpose of this town hall style meeting is to provide a platform for youth to organize and discuss issues that plague their communities. The Think Tank- like environment will help set the stage for this year’s progressive agenda, inspiring students to create real solutions to real issues. Miss Kimmy and Shelby Rushin, popular radio personalities from 99 Jamz will MC the evening and Soledad O’Brien will deliver the keynote address. This event is free and open to the public.
