Bad break up: Woman kills boyfriend, wraps him in plastic wrap, and hides him in freezer

By Barry Burch Jr.

It sounds like a story straight from the show “Snapped,” or some other dreary, thin line between love and hate affair occurred, and this time the victim wound up in the freezer.

Charged with the horrendous crime of murder, a Minnesota mother-of-three is being held responsible for brutally beating her boyfriend, who was found hidden in a freezer, wrapped in plastic and sealed with duct tape, as reported by Mail Online.

The 58-year-old man was found deceased, stuffed inside of a chest freezer in the garage of his own home, which he shared with his alleged killer, Jetaun Wheeler.

Wheeler, 29, whose children ranging from 7 to 10, and are all currently missing, is being held under police custody under the charge of second degree murder.

According to sources, the reason for the killing is common knowledge. Wheeler didn’t want the victim, whose identity has yet to be released, to split up with her.

When the victim went missing, the police canvassed the area.  A neighbor informed them that Wheeler and the victim had been arguing right outside their house in the driveway just two weeks before his disappearance.

When questioned about the victim’s whereabouts, Wheeler told authorities that he had taken the bus to Chicago.  However, in a search of the home, investigators discovered a piece of blood-soaked carpet under Wheeler’s mattress.  And as if to lead police to the body, stains led them to the freezer containing it.  Other than the body, officers found bags of clothing; shoes were also found in rubbished bags hidden below a microwave in the kitchen.  Sparing the horrific details, the victim’s body was beyond recognition when found.

No Amber Alerts have been issued for the missing children, suggesting the authorities are not under the impression that they are in danger. “We don’t know what the children went through,” said Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman.
