     In April 2016, then-President Barack Obama announced that Tubman would replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill. Obama wanted the release of the new bill to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment in 2020 that gave women the right to vote.

     The distinction is the aim of former State Senator Chris Smith’s restaurant Sistrunk Smitty’s Wings. Pivoting from politics, Smith, along with his wife Desorae Giles-Smith, opened the restaurant back in the fall on Sistrunk Blvd. Not only are they focusing on serving the best wings you can get in Fort Lauderdale, but they also want to provide a nice dining experience in the historic neighborhood, “I want to give people another reason to come on Sistrunk. People that have done well have moved out west and they only come here for Church. Now, they can come here for entertainment as well,” said Chris Smith, Owner of Sistrunk Smitty’s Wings.

     No matter how educated they are, no matter how experienced they are and no matter what the residents and voters in the United States say about how they want elected officials to conduct themselves, far too many Republicans and Dixiecrats, Democrats that believe in, admire and bow down to the political babayka, are on a mission to destroy what you call Democracy.

     On the day of the inauguration, President Biden went straight to work signing 17 executive orders, and now he is up to 42. Some of the 42 executive actions of his administration include halting funding of the construction of Trump’s border wall, reversing Trump’s travel ban targeting largely Muslin countries, a mask mandate on federal property, changing economic policies, improving coronavirus policies, the environment, racial equity, education, and many additional policies.
