The South Florida community rallied for the Miami Dolphins’ eleventh annual Dolphins Challenge Cancer (DCC XI) raising funds for innovative cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, a part of UHealth – the University of Miami Health System. The popular philanthropic event united participants under a “one team, one fight” mission with the common goal of challenging cancer in the South Florida community through its partnership with Sylvester.

That range highlights the need for federal intervention — both continuing the moratorium, which happened this morning, and additional assistance that will help not only struggling renters but also their landlords, such as the $45 billion in rental assistance in the recently passed federal stimulus bill.

       More than sharing my personal experiences in that two year stretch with one of the most widely recognized names in music entertainment, singing some of the most popular songs of all times, including “YMCA,” “Macho Man,” and “In the Navy”, consider this — I have no idea how I ended up there.

     Biden is fulfilling his promise to bring professional diversity to courts that are dominated by former prosecutors and corporate lawyers. Ketanji Brown Jackson and Candace Jackson-Akiwumi both have experience as public defenders. Jackson is now a federal district judge who was unanimously confirmed by the Senate in 2013. 

   Republicans, with Senator McConnell at the helm, have exhibited clear signs of support for white supremacy and Fascism. They’ve continuously supported and spread the following propaganda: 1) voter fraud must be prevented using tougher voter legislations, 2) illegal immigrants threaten National interest, and 3) corporations have no stakes or rights to meddle in politics. Anyone who accepts and spreads this kind of propaganda is deliberately seeking to expand the racial and political divide.

     “We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50 years old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days,” the family wrote in a statement.  “Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart, and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle, and the man the world knew as DMX.     Â
