Netflix has finally premiered its first original African animation series titled âSupa Team 4.â The show, created by Zambian writer Malenga Mulendema, is part of the streaming giantâs Representation Matters Collection.

    Since our Union began in 1776, the advocates of slavery recited the argument that Slavery was beneficial for Blacks. The current refrain is the Florida educational system positing that slavery was a vocational asset for Blacks. South Carolina Senator John C. Calhoun was one of the most vocal politicians advocating the benefits of slavery. In his 1837 anti-abolitionist speech he said, âNever before has the Black race of Central Africa, from the dawn of history to the present day, attained a condition so civilized and so improved, not only physically, but morally and intellectually.â
    During her conversation with Attorney General Campbell, Vice President Harris emphasized the urgent need for Black voters nationwide to make their voices heard. The Vice President also highlighted the need to take action and remain vigilant to increasing attempts to silence and disenfranchise Black communities as it relates to critical issues ranging from affirmative action, to gun violence and reproductive rights.
