     Florida A&M University’s (FAMU) Tallahassee campus, FAMU Developmental Research School (DRS), and the Educational Research Center for Child Development, are closed Friday due to severe weather conditions, including a localized tornado warning.

      It’s hard to fathom who’ll go ape over this action/sci-fi/drama. Maybe those who don’t know better and slept through the previous Planet of the Apes trilogy.

     In essence, embracing love over fear is the key to rise above self-imposed limitations and peep into true peace and a bit of spiritual awareness. It’s a journey that requires some humbling, courage, and unwavering faith in the changing power of love. And as we navigate through life’s uncertainties, let us remember that with enough love, we can find stillness amidst the storm, knowing that love conquers all and that ultimately, “this too shall pass.”

     Ms. Briana Whatley, a junior from Miramar High School,  won the 2024 Incubate Debate National Championship, claiming first place and a $10,000 prize. The competition was held in Jacksonville, Florida  on April 5 – 6, 2024. Briana debated against 88 other  high caliber students from across the nation. Incubate National Championship is provided by Incubate partner Open to Debate, the nation’s only nonpartisan, debate-driven media organization dedicated to bringing multiple viewpoints together for a respectful exchange of ideas.
