5000 ROLE MODELS OF EXCELLENCE PROJECT 20th Anniversary Celebration and Reunion Kick-off — On Friday, June 14, 2013 hundreds of Role Model Mentors and Alumni, including early pioneers, of the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project, joined program founder Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson at the Hilton Miami Downtown for the kick-off of the program’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and Reunion. “Celebrating 20 Years of Mentoring, Guidance and Educational Assistance,” is the banner theme of the yearlong celebration which will include activities throughout the year to commemorate the program’s milestone and successes.
