Blue Suits, White Justice and Black Deaths

      Almost every single day, somebody with a badge looks for an opportunity to harass, arrest, overcharge, prosecute or kill a man or woman of color!

This practice has been going on in America since the days of slavery.

The idea that graduation from a police academy authorizes you to interact with Black, brown and other people of color one way and to treat white people a different way has always been opposed and discredited, and today the practice of differential treatment of all citizens must be abandoned.

It is impossible for a law enforcer to mistake any handgun for a taser. The two kinds of weapons have different colors and different weights.

I told you before and I’ll tell you again, law enforcement agencies from park police to members of Seal Teams are permeated with white nationalists, white supremacists and white racists.

They attempt to excuse their murderous behavior by claiming their criminal acts of killing unarmed citizens were accidents. They justify murders of innocent people by alleging they were afraid and threatened.

Well, a gunman in a blue suit with a pale face is seldom afraid of a child with a toy pistol, a man with a cell phone or a woman in her own home and in her own bed.

Bobby Womack once sang about “Looking for a love” but some bad apples on the law enforcement tree are looking for “strange fruit”!

Long ago in my college days, people talked about apartheid in South Africa. Yes, it was tough in Cape Town, in Pretoria and in Johannesburg, but it seems to be worse right now in Minneapolis, in Atlanta, in Chicago and in other cities.

If you are shot, deprived of oxygen, starved, hung in a jail cell or dragged in the streets behind an old pickup truck, you’re dead either way.

Oppressed and exploited parents in America must have “the talk” with their boys and girls. They say, “follow police orders and instructions and show officers your hands”.

I say, tell police your name and address and DON’T SAY ANYTHING ELSE!

Anything you say that’s not recorded will be twisted, turned and used as an excuse to cause you bodily harm.

American citizens oftentimes are denied due process. What most people get is “Blue Process”, where some law enforcers become a judge, the jury and an executioner.

God willing, one day the scenario of blue suits, white justice and Black deaths will cease.

You tell me, when was the last time you heard that a white driver was killed after being stopped for an expired tag, an air freshener hanging from a mirror, an improper lane change or for playing loud music on a car radio?

White people don’t get killed for misdemeanor offices even in a Hollywood movie!

There may be a few bad cops in police departments but who votes to pay for expensive trials for bad cops?

Don’t act like you don’t know. The politicians that you vote for almost always rubber stamps and supports whatever the policemen and police unions tell them to.

Let me tell you why. Police and their unions are very active in political elections. They contribute to the campaigns of elected officials that will allow officers to get away with murder.

But that’s not all. If you don’t know, politicians that spend long hours at fundraisers and other receptions and events have “bad” children and other relatives that commit crimes, small and large, that are ignored by police but are not forgotten.

A scared elected official will never vote to get rid of qualified immunity and they will always vote to fund legal defenses of bad cops. A policeman or woman can’t afford high priced lawyers and legal experts on a lawman’s salary.

Also, elected officials vote to pay millions in taxpayer dollars to “train” officers that can’t tell the difference between guns and tasers.

Why do you think most politicians are as quiet as mice about police misconduct?

Don’t be shocked if charges are reduced for the criminal murders done by law enforcers. It happens all the time.

Understand all true Black heroes have been to jail from Jesus Christ, to Martin and Malcolm to Nelson and Winnie Mandela.

Fight the powers that be and don’t be timid about telling the truth about police misconduct and police murders!
