   As a family, over dinner, talk about taking a virtual together. Then, go onto the internet together and spend time planning your incredible virtual family vacation.
Pick a country from anywhere in the world: from Asia, Australia, North, Central or South America, the North or South Poles. Select a country that your family was originally from or one that has an unusual sounding name or just because youâre curious about it.
Are you going to be allowed to bring your best friend, just the immediate family, go with a group of families, or go with a tour group?
Are you going to visit a few places within one country or a few countries? How would you get there? How much would your vacation cost? (transportations, lodging, food, etc).
What do you plan to see when you arrive? What makes this place special? What are they known for? Festivals, Museums, architecture, food, culture, the animals, the terrain, the styles, weather, etc. How different/similar is it to home?
Learn a few common expressions in their language to help you get around. (Good morning.â May I see a menuâ, Thank-youâ, How much does it costâ.)
You will be in their country; not everyone in the world speaks English.
Write about what you learned and what interested you a you hope to enjoy when you really g0, one day and save it. You may want to read it, one day.
