With their remarkable foresight, the founding fathers anticipated the potential rise of a king with absolve powers. Their wisdom guides us today, reminding us that uneducated people with unlimited power within democracy could make poor choices. But the voters hold the power to Checkmate a wanna-be king! In chess, the goal is to capture the opponent’s king!
With their remarkable foresight, the founding fathers, established the US Constitution, three separate branches of government, popular voting for presidents, and the Electoral College. Their greatest fear was not the absence of these safeguards but the potential compromise of men’s integrity in governance.
Each of the four guard rails is useless when elected officials compromise their integrity. Remember Justice Thomas and Alito appear to have bartered their integrity for gifts, and US Judge Cannon’s decision regarding Trump’s documents case borders on a perception of partiality.
Trump and the Federalist Society lacking integrity, focused on him becoming a King-Dictator. Like chess, their cynical plan included getting Republican Congresspersons and MAGA followers to behave as human pawns. As in chess, pawns protect the King, Trump’s humans pawns’ key role has been shielding or blocking him from facing accountability for his crimes.
Trump created his human pawns by packing the Supreme Court, controlling the Republican Party, turning MAGA followers into a cult using racist rhetoric, weaponizing Evangelism, and luring funding from conservative billionaires.
The six Supreme Court Justice acting as pawns following Trump’s orders to overturn Roe v. Wade. Without shame, they prevented the Colorado Court from removing his name from their presidential ballot. Still wanting to protect Trump even more, they granted him absolute immunity, thus granting him the status of a King.
However, Trump didn’t anticipate that President Biden would sacrifice his run for the presidency in 2024, thus providing a pathway for VP Harris to become the Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate. VP Harris has gained the support and backing of the Democratic Party, Independent, and Democrats voters.
Trump must now be having second thoughts about selecting J.D. Vance as his VP Vance, who once questioned his sexuality. VP Vance hangs, around Trump’s neck life a stinking dead albatross. He’s used the media or his writings to spread misogynist messages about women, voice hatred towards the police, and blame, the Appalachians for their lives of poverty.
Again, Trump has demonstrated his unfitness to serve as president. His continuing willingness to surround himself with pawns and misfits threatens democracy. Unbelievably, Trump told Christians that if they voted for him, they wouldn’t have to vote again.
Its Trump expecting to become “King and to surround himself with pawns instead of voters? Are you a pawn or a voter? Never mind, don’t answer because how you vote will determine if you’re a pawn. Remember, no one can make you a pawn without your approval!
The Republican Party’s ultimate mistake is that they failed to realize their wanna-be King, Trump, will be ‘Checkmated,” by the power of the vote from educated Democratic and Independent voters.
