FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – Fort Lauderdale Chapter hosted its highly anticipated Diamond Jubilee Gala at the Renaissance Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The evening was a dazzling celebration of 75 years of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood, bringing together distinguished guests, community leaders, and members from near and far to honor the chapter’s legacy and impact.

As the first Black Greek-lettered organization to charter a chapter in Broward County, the Fort Lauderdale Zetas have been trailblazers in service and leadership since their inception. Their legacy of excellence continues to inspire and uplift the community through impactful programs and initiatives.

The event was graced by a powerful keynote address from Dr. Stacie NC Grant, International President and CEO of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., who inspired attendees with her message of leadership, service, and continued excellence. The program was led by the dynamic Chapter President, Vanessa J. Sauveur, whose dedication to the organization was evident throughout the evening. Guiding the night’s festivities as emcees were the charismatic LaMyiah Pearlinia and Mark W. Johnson, who kept the energy high and the audience engaged.

Guests enjoyed an evening of elegance, complete with a formal dinner, live entertainment, and special presentations highlighting the chapter’s rich history and contributions to the Fort Lauderdale community. The Diamond Jubilee Gala also served as a moment to recognize the chapter’s commitment to Zeta Phi Beta’s founding principles of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood, reinforcing its ongoing mission to uplift and empower.

Special recognition goes to Jobernia Wyche-Francis and her committee, who did an excellent job planning the event, ensuring a memorable and seamless celebration for all attendees.

“We are beyond proud to celebrate 75 years of impact and excellence,” said Chapter President Vanessa Sauveur. “This milestone is a testament to the hard work, resilience, and dedication of our members past and present, and we look forward to continuing our legacy of service for generations to come.”

The Fort Lauderdale Zetas extend their gratitude to all sponsors, supporters, and attendees who made this historic evening a success. As they commemorate this milestone, the chapter remains committed to its mission of making a meaningful difference in the community through service, advocacy, and education.
