The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, in partnership with the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade and the Miami-Dade Commission for Women, is proud to announce that Kendra N. Bulluck-Major, Executive Director of the Orange Blossom Classic, has been named the recipient of the Sports and Athletics Award at the 36th Annual In the Company of Women Awards.
The prestigious awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Coral Gables Country Club (990 Alhambra Circle, Coral Gables, FL). The event, held in celebration of International Women’s Day and National Women’s History Month, honors outstanding women leaders who have made significant contributions to the community.
Bulluck-Major’s recognition underscores her commitment to advancing sports, education, and cultural impact through the historic Orange Blossom Classic, a premier HBCU football event that continues to uplift student-athletes and communities. Under her leadership, the event has grown in prominence, creating opportunities for scholarships, economic development, and community engagement.
