The Gantt Report
Ghetto pinocchios
By Lucius Gantt
Itâs February and this is the month that Black History is supposed to be celebrated and appreciated.
To honor Black History in February almost all of Americaâs universities, colleges, high schools, churches and other institutions will pay $5,000, $10,000, $20,000 or more to the same speakers that give the same boring Black History Month speeches that they gave last year and that they give every other year.
The most sought after speakers are what The Gantt Report calls âGhetto Pinocchiosâ. The people that get to give the most Black History Month speeches are todayâs imperialist puppets.
Coming soon to your state, your city and your neighborhoods are the Black History Month speakers that are recommended by the oppressors, endorsed by the exploiters and suggested by the people that want to capitalize on and control the Black community!
Can I prove it? YES! Just keep on reading.
Before you hear one word from any of these speakers I promise you they will mention Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., they will mention President Barack Obama or they will mention someone that wants you to be non-violent even though you are constantly getting brutalized, steadily getting mentally, verbally and physically assaulted and your friends, family members and teenage neighbors are getting shot down in broad daylight by people who claim they are standing their ground!
If youâre not a preacher or a professor getting paid to speak during Black History Month, you are probably a boot licking journalist or media professional.
I donât care where you live in America, you have probably heard a Black History Month address given by Roland Martin, Tavis Smiley, Oprah Winfrey, Cynthia Tucker, Leonard Pitts, DeWayne Wickham, Tom Joyner, Steve Harvey or somebody like that.
The same speech they give in Los Angeles, they will give in Atlanta, in Miami, in Detroit, in Denver, in Birmingham, in New Orleans or wherever you pay them to speak. They will give the same old backward, boring and reactionary message.
Since its February 2014, the speech might mention this summerâs primary or Novemberâs general elections.
The speakers you pay and the beast loves will tell you why it is important for you to vote for the Democratic rattler or the Republican moccasin. A Democratic rattler and a Republican water moccasin are both snakes and either snake you choose will still bite you and poison you if you hang around the devilâs snake pit!
Yes, the 2014 Black History Month comes in a political year. And the speakers will tell you why you should support one white candidate and not support the other candidate. They will tell you that the Black, the real Black candidates are too radical, too militant, donât have enough money or donât have the necessary experience.
However, The Gantt Report will tell you the truth about Black political history that the people you pay know nothing and if they do they will be scared to tell you.
Today, other than the President, most Black elected officials were elected in gerrymandered predominately Black districts but it wasnât always like that.
After the Civil War, during the reconstruction period, there were far more US Senators, Congress members, state legislators and other Black public servants than there are today! At that time you had Black elected officials in every state of the Union and Black folk dominated the Southern political scene.
There were also Black state legislators, Black Mayors and Black Council men. There were even Black Sheriffâs elected by both Black and white voters!
So, what happened?
What happened was even though the newly freed Blacks had the most votes the white people had the most guns!
The whites took those guns and forced the Blacks out of office by giving them a choice, leave office or die!
âWeâre not going to allow a Black Sheriff to arrest white peopleâ was a phrase heard in town after town.
Anyway, donât settle for hand-picked Black History Month speakers that will tell you to bow down rather than stand up and will tell you to hush your mouth rather than speak out.
Stop listening to the Ghetto Pinocchios that you think are representing your people and your community who are really the devilâs puppets!
Let this Black History Month be Black for a change! (Buy Ganttâs latest book âBeast Too: Dead Man Writingâ online or at any major bookstore. Contact Lucius at www.allworldconsultants.net)
