Every 15-minutes, Auwin Dargin, would walk in and out of Synn Gentleman’s Club in North Hills, CA. Management began to get suspicious and eventually heard crying from a car in the parking lot.

The club’s assistant manager Matthew Nadeau, noticed a baby locked in a car and he had one of his colleagues squeezed his hand through the slightly opened window and unlocked the door. While a waitress got the infant some water, the club’s manager alerted the patrons and discovered Dargin in the middle of getting a lap dance.

“Just give me my baby, I know I am messing up,” said the careless father to Nadeau who had already called the police.

“I have daughters — over my dead body am I going to let you take this baby today,” Nadeau claims to have told Dargin.

The pair got into an argument and Dargin accused the assistant manager of kidnapping his child. As police approached the club, Dargin tried to flee on foot but was promptly arrested

The 9-month-old was taken to the hospital where she was suffering from a mild case of dehydration. The infant has since been placed in the custody of child protective services.

“I thought it was unbelievable. I could not believe a father would put his child in that type of danger”said LAPD officer Charles Chacon.

The 24-year-old father was reportedly charged with felony child endangerment and faces up to six years in prison if convicted.
