John U. Lloyd State Park Renamed After Local Civil Rights Activists

Gov. Rick Scott on Wednesday signed a bill that will rename John U. Lloyd State Park to Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park, named after local civil rights figures who were instrumental in desegregating South Florida’s beaches.
