It’s amazing how simple equations and formulas can help people understand basic aspects about reality. For example, no one questions Einstein’s equation, Energy =mc2, or the formula for water = H2O. Consequently, one should be able to combine and identify certain elements of human behavior to determine if specific violation of social or political norms defines insanity. Hence, has Trumpism and his voting cult regressed to a level of insanity whereby they’re becoming a danger to themselves, other people and the Nation?

Let’s examine the elements in the heading above in order to determine the impact of this siege. However, before we can examine these specific elements, it’ll be helpful to review the following vignettes: 1) The Mayor of Miami Beach learns of an approaching hurricane, a category 4, but he refuses to warn the people living on the shore line. He decides that the people will panic and more will die from trying to cross the causeway. This would be insane and wrong, because thousands would have died; and 2) Republican voters, who resemble a cult, were constantly fed a diet of bigotry and hatred, voted for a candidate Trump. He demonstrated before being elected his immorality and ineptitude as a leader. Was this a sign of insanity or blind devotion?

Now, it’s important to examine an ongoing vignette to grasp the deadly consequences of Trumpism. The President admits to learning a dangerous coronavirus was heading to the U.S. However, he panicked and lied about its dangers. He even called it a hoax and failed to take immediate steps to protect the Nation.

This resulted with millions contracting the virus and hundreds of thousands dying. He then contradicted the advice provided by CDC, such as wearing a mask and remaining six feet apart.

His own refusal to mandate wearing a mask in public, resulted in a second wave of infections.

Plus, he contracted the virus. Once partially recovered, he again organized rallies, which drew huge unmasked, seemingly spellbound, voting cults. The real question might be, “which is more dangerous COVID-19 or INSANITY?”

Cities hosting Trump’s rallies were either experiencing a COVID-19 surge before he arrived or shortly after the voting cult returned to their hometowns. The infection rate is above 8 million.

The siege of America doesn’t diminish, because the onslaught of conspiracy theories, such as there’s a secretive and evil global cabal, is broadcast 24/7, on social media. It’s preposterous that many Americans don’t apply simple reasoning to debunk these outlandish conspiracies. Hitler killed millions of Jews because far too many Germans believed his propaganda and conspiracies. Have we learned nothing from history?

Packing the Supreme Court with staunch conservative judges recommended by the Federalist Society, constitute the most powerful political weapon to control all aspects of governance within America; thus, there lies the ultimate siege. Remember, once Republicans pack the Judicial and Supreme Courts with lifetime appointments, their power is solidified indefinitely. Also, judges don’t shed their political persuasions, values, transgressions, etc., once they take their oath and adorned their black robes.

Supreme Court Justices remained committed to their beliefs, party, and a strict interpretation of the Constitution as put forth by the Founding Fathers, who were white supremacists and slave owners. White folks believe in doing whatever is necessary to maintain power. Moscow Mitch, as Joe Scarborough calls him, wields power like Jack the Ripper sliced up his victims.

If America it to withstand this siege, all registered democratic and independent voters must vote come Tuesday, November 3, 2020, as though their life and the lives of their children, children depended on it.
