A Walmart boycott will commence on Tuesday May 20-26. By harnessing our collective buying power, we can foster a more equitable society. In response to President Trump’s elimination of federal DE&I programs, many companies have also taken action. As a result, many of us will continue to support businesses that value diversity and inclusion. We’re becoming increasingly mindful of our spending habits and will seek out companies that respect our patronage.
To highlight this disparity and encourage meaningful change, we are supporting a boycott of Walmart from May 20-26. This action isn’t intended as a hostile demonstration, but rather as a powerful demonstration of our collective economic strength. By strategically withholding our spending during this period, we aim to send a clear message to Walmart’s leadership: we demand a more equitable and inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of its workforce and customer base.
