A little bit more for Senator Kelly Loeffler

Long ago a reporter asked oil magnate John D. Rockefeller, “How much money is enough?” He responded, “Just a little bit more.” Keeping it real like Rockefeller, Georgia Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler was trying to keep a little bit more of her investment by dumping stocks after receiving intelligence briefings about the coronavirus threat.

For senators who behaved like Loeffler, Fox news host Tucker Carlson said, “There is no greater crime than betraying your country in a time of crisis, and that appears to be what happened.” Unfortunately, Kelly Loeffler did not believe in a little bit more for working Georgians suffering economically due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Senator Loeffler voted against an amendment which would have guaranteed two weeks of paid family and medical leave to U.S. employees and independent contractors. Republicans believe in a little bit more when it comes to enriching themselves.
