On November 17, 2019, I went to the Broward County Courthouse to participate in a mock trial. This was an interesting experience.

I was very attentive and inquisitive because I want to be an attorney although I played the role of a witness in the trial. The experience was still very informative.

At this mock trial there was a jury, a judge, a state and defense team. There were also witnesses, attorneys, direct and cross examiners.

Finally, there were opening and closing statements. At the mock trial, there were different schools competing with one another.

The case was a previous murder case. I spent several hours at the mock trial and thoroughly enjoyed it.
