    America’s rejection of God has empowered elites to nullify the affirming first words to the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution and the encouraging last words of the Gettysburg Address.

    Regarding the U.S. Constitution, it is no longer “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union.” Instead, it is we the elites of the United States, in order to form a more divided Union.

    Regarding the Gettysburg address, it is no longer “That this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth.” Instead, it is that this nation which rejected God shall curtail the people’s freedom, and that government of the elites, by the elites, for the elites, shall permeate the Earth.

    Paraphrasing the lyrics of Simon and Garfunkel’s 1964 Sound of Silence song; the people bowed and prayed, to the elitist god they made.
