An interesting contrast on January 15th was the celebration of Martin Luther King’s life on one hand and the celebration of Trump’s win in Iowa.

King’s dream for America was interrupted by a bullet and we must stop Trump’s vision with a ballot!

Trump’s vision of dismantling the constitution, going after political opponents, silencing critics and a return to the racist and divisive past is much different from that America that King so eloquently articulated on August 28, 1963.

Being judged by one’s content of character and a table where sons of former slaves and former slave owners could be seated is a far cry from the spoken notion that you must be white to be eligible for the presidency and the embracing of white supremacy.

We must drown out the shout for four more years with a vote that’s says No More Years!
