Raised in Georgia, she descended from a hard working family and carried that work ethic with her all her life. On December 20, 1943 she married Josephus Eggelletion, Sr.

After retiring, on October 9, 1989, she and her husband finally settled in the dream home he built for her in the quiet Gadsden County community of Oak Grove. While living there she attended Beulah Hill Baptist Church.

Annie Lee is survived by her loving husband of 69 years; Josephus Eggelletion, Sr., seven children, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, five nieces and three nephews along with their children, grandchildren and the many friends she had in South and North Florida. Plans for a memorial service are underway in Gadsden County where she will be laid to rest.
