WASHINGTON — Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has completed the shooting of his upcoming film “Shiv Shastri Balboa” in New Jersey, United States.
The actor, on Aug. 27, 2021, took to his Instagram handle and penned a post sharing his experience working on the project, which is the 519th project of his film career so far.
“Finally, it is a wrap for my 519th film #ShivShastriBalboa!! What a roller coaster ride it has been!” he captioned the post.
“Thank you to my producers, line producers, technicians, and co-actors for the amazing love, warmth, and support. I have a very good feeling about the work we have put in in the last 40days. Hope to meet you all again soon.”

Alongside the note, he uploaded a video of him celebrating the last day of the shoot with the cast and crew of the film.
Directed by Ajayan Venugopalan, under UFI Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. Banner, “Shiv Shastri Balboa” also features Neena Gupta and Jugal Hansraj.
Venugopalan is best known for writing and directing the Malayalam sitcom “Akkara Kazhchakal,” which starred Josekutty Valiyakallumkal.
Hansraj, on Aug. 25, 2021, also shared a post for his co-star Kher, with whom he has earlier acted in films like “Mohabbatein” and “Papa Kehte Hain.”
“This is the end of my sixth film with Kher saab. It was a wonderful experience, I got to learn a lot. He is very patient, taught me a lot, and is always a lot of fun. Thank you, sir,” Hansraj said in a video clip.
“Wonderful experience with him. With six films, I hope we do 60 more,” replied Kher in the video.
On a personal note, Kher, 66, shared a thread of vintage photographs from his 36th wedding ceremony with actress Kirron Kher.
Taking to his Instagram handle, the “Khosla Ka Ghosla” actor penned a heartfelt note to mark the occasion.
“Happy 36th wedding anniversary dearest #Kirron (sic),” he wrote.
“It has been a long journey with all the possible emotions of laughter, tears, arguments, sharing, friendship, love, and togetherness! But a journey worth it. These black and white pics have all the shades of color in them. Stay safe and healthy. Love and prayers always! (sic)”
In one of the images, the duo can be seen decked up in traditional clothes as Kher’s family surrounds them.
Their son, Sikandar Kher, who has acted in films like “Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey,” “Milan Talkies,” “Romeo Akbar Walter,” etc., also wished the couple on this occasion.
“Happy anniversary to these two people .. I think I’ve seen them somewhere.. to many more (sic),” he wrote alongside a monochrome selfie of the duo.
Sikandar Kher is Kirron Kher’s son from her first marriage to businessman Gautam Berry.
