Are we really living in the ‘Last Days’? Christians chime in

Fans of the Ladies Who Love the Lord Facebook fan page were asked one question: Do you believe we’re living in the end of times? They were also asked to cite their reasons for their belief. The question received 55 comments, 329 “likes,” 16 shares, and over 6,000 read.
The question derived from church ceremonies across the world, where many pastors have convinced their congregation that the world is coming to an end. Historically, there have been many tragedies (e.g. plagues, wars, depressions, etc.) that would convince believers that the world is coming to an end. Many commenters cited the book of Revelations, and the many evils that are carried out amongst believers and none believers to support their belief.
Commenter Brittany Marsh reminded readers that only God knows when the end will occur: “I have to disagree with everybody. NOBODY but the Lord knows EVEN when the day is drawing near. Now, the bible does states things that are going to happen. But it could still be thousands and thousands of years before the world ends.” Commenter Aleshia Hayes disagrees with Marsh. She’s confident that the current instances that have occurred throughout the world are key indicators that the end is near. “Yes, Revelations speak and tells it all!” she said, “Changes in weather, parents and children killing each other, etc. “
