Black British born, Jamaican author, Kande Summers, pens her first book entitled Going Home: Diary of a Teenage Alien. This book is written through the adolescent lens of the main character called Liz, who adopts a dystopian and explorative perspective of how an intergalactic war would impact life on earth.

     But it shouldn’t be a surprise. Just as Black voters in Georgia made history in the 2020 election by delivering the state to Joe Biden and electing 2 Democratic senators, Black workers in the Alabama warehouse stand to keep making history as they vote on union representation.

Racism is embedded in Every Institution and System in America

      Rogue Republicans are weaponizing racism in a brazen attempt to further divide the Nation and maintain a legacy of white supremacy. Their tactics aren’t new, and they’ve managed to infiltrate every level of society. In order to fully understand the dangers imposed by these rogue Republicans and to develop strategies to nullify them, one must examine the historical, social, economic and political implications.

A bad means to a bad end

     Compassion does not remedy lawless behavior. Illegal immigration is law-lessness. The word illegal means contrary or forbidden by law.

     The new COVID relief law takes significant steps to address decades of shameful discrimination against Black farmers by the federal government. And that would not have happened without voters putting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House and giving Democrats a majority in the Senate.
