Obviously, Trump possess none of these qualities. However, even though the presidential election is only weeks away, Barr can yet provide a measure of devotion and service to the America people. By publicly denouncing the wrong Trump has done to this Country as well as his own cynical role, he needn’t commit hara-kiri. This act of atonement may prevent historians from assigning him the title of the most, “corrupt Attorney General in History.”

Even now, Trump and his campaign have specifically sought to have officials toss out many of the votes that were legitimately cast in heavily African American-populated cities like Atlanta, Detroit, and Milwaukee. Ironically, their actions would include disenfranchising thousands of Republicans whose votes were also submitted by other means than in person at a polling place.
COVID-19 has killed more than 230,000 people in the U.S., and the death toll continues to rise at a rate of about 1,000 per day. We know, however, that families and communities don’t count their losses in thousands or hundreds; they count them one-by-one – a father, a teacher, a sister, a friend, a nurse, a son, a Tribal elder, a church member. And these losses hurt.
At 11:34 on Saturday morning, the good news trickled down. Biden won. Kamala Harris is Madame Vice President (MVP). People were sending funny and smart text messages. From one friend – ‘ladies keep your shoes on, there is glass on the floor. Exhale. Savor the feeling. Kamala’s win is a “dancing in the street” victory for Black women, for all women, for our nation.
Retired principal and longtime Plantation resident, Pernell McKinnedy Wright, passed on Nov. 11, 2020. He was a resident of Plantation for nearly 45 years. He was born in Fort Pierce, Florida on December 9, 1933. Pernell was a 1953 graduate of Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce.
