America would be better off with no Trump

     Former President Donald Trump was convicted by a 12-person jury in New York State Court of 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, in violation of New York Penal Law § 175.10.

     The Conservative Right, which is manifesting itself in election officials of the Republican Party and now the United States Supreme Court itself, would seek to roll back all social gains made since the Brown Decision of 1954, which in effect reversed the “separate but equal” Jim Crow doctrine which was further outlawed with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1965. This law and the Voting Rights Act gave new meaning to the “Equal Protection Clause” of the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

      There’s a breathtaking hubris at work when a political party seeks to suppress the votes of an entire people, then claims its leaders are the champions of that same people. You don’t have to look far to find such hubris in the Republican Party today.

     Below are several strategies to help grow Black homeownership in the U.S.: Federal Student loan forgiveness for purchasing a home.  African Americans are disproportionately impacted by student loan debt forcing many to forgo homeownership. A program that addresses this disparity and forgives student loan debt would help many Black Americans achieve their homeownership dreams.

     This entrepreneurial trend transcends specific sectors, impacting industries such as tech, healthcare, hospitality, and retail alike. It is hoped that 2025 will continue this growth, particularly among women of color. These entrepreneurs founded enterprises at record rates and created growth-oriented firms that resulted in job creation and transformation.
