As abortions become increasingly restricted, women facing unwanted pregnancies are navigating complex and often clandestine paths to access reproductive healthcare services. The ban has fueled fear, uncertainty, and risks for women seeking abortions, compelling them to resort to secretive measures, including traveling out of state or relying on underground networks.

     And it reminds me of another sneak attack that may have caused lethal damage: FBI Director James Comey’s last-minute reopening of an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private emails.

     The Senate Education Appropriations Committee unanimously approved the bill (SB 62), which would require that people not lose resident status “solely by reason of incarceration in a state or federal correctional facility in this state.”
