  Post-pandemic burnout is at worrying levels among Christian clergy in the U.S., prompting many to think about abandoning their jobs, according to a new nationwide survey.

     Recent research conducted by Scientific American online supported fears that facial recognition technology (FRT) can worsen racial inequities in policing. The research found that law enforcement agencies that use automated facial recognition disproportionately arrest Black people.

     Entering the competition with a previous personal best of 7.29 seconds from the previous season, Lyston demonstrated her prowess with ease, running 7.14 seconds in the qualifying round.      Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is set to publish a new book in October. Kaepernick won an award from Audible in 2023 for his memoir “Change The Game,” which was published as a graphic novel and in audio form.

       The 47-year-old Morris was hired by the Falcons after 14 candidates were interviewed, with Belichick the most notable among them. Earlier Thursday, the team conducted a second interview with Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik.

   Four minority head coaches have been hired this year — Atlanta’s Raheem Morris, New England’s Jerod Mayo, Las Vegas’ Antonio Pierce and Carolina’s Dave Canales — bringing the number of coaches of color entering the 2024 season to nine, the most in league history. Seattle and Washington have yet to fill their vacancies.
