BlakPac, a national Super PAC co-founded by George T. Farrell III, is mourning his passing on Sept. 24.
Farrell, 62, was the son of Isabella and George D. Farrell II. He was born and raised in Washington, D.C., where he received his early studies and subsequent college degree in finance from Howard University.
“George was a talented business leader, author and public servant, who cared deeply about his family, his community, his state and his nation,” said Farrell’s wife, Sandra Lopez, who was a co-founder of BlakPac. “He dedicated his life to making a positive difference in the lives of others.”
As a young man, Farrell served as a police officer in Washington, D.C., and was a successful owner and CEO of a major investment firm. Also, many remember Farrell for his impactful involvement in government and community development.
“He made a difference,” Lopez said.
