The Jessie Trice Community Health System (JTCHS) is proud to join health centers nationwide in celebrating National Health Center Week (NHCW), August 3–9, 2025, under this year’s theme: “Celebrating 60 Years of Progress.”

    Health Centers represent the nation’s largest primary care network, serving approximately 32.5 million patients across nearly 16,000 communities annually, according to the National Association of Community Health Centers. Among the many reasons to celebrate America’s health centers, is their enduring success in providing access to affordable, high-quality, cost-effective health care throughout the United States.

    In celebration of National Health Center Week, JTCHS will host a variety of events and activities, including:

    • Saturday, Aug. 2 – Fuel Your Fitness Day. JTCHS will host wellness activities for employees and board members.
    • Monday, Aug. 4 – Staff Appreciation Day. JTCHS will recognize the hard work, dedication, and spirit of its incredible staff.
    • Tuesday, Aug. 5 – Patient Appreciation Day. JTCHS staff will thank patients for choosing JTCHS as their healthcare providers.
    • Wednesday, Aug. 6 – Health Conditions Focus Day. The JTCHS Medical Residency team will take over JTCHS social media for the day.
    • Thursday, Aug. 7 – Population Focus Day. The dental team will take over social media to spotlight oral health.
    • Friday, Aug. 8 – Partner Appreciation Day. JTCHS will thank partners for their invaluable support and collaboration in advancing JTCHS’s mission.
    • Saturday, Aug. 9 – Gratitude & Future Vision Day: JTCHS will host its annual Back-toSchool Immunization Fair, to support families preparing for the new school year (by appointment only).
