By Don Valentine & Connie Taylor

He-Said: Connie please explain, from a life long Brit’s perspective, the need for a 10 day memorial exaltation for the late Queen? A lot of readers would agree that if it was Jesus Christ it would be deserved. Well, you have to admit Jesus did have the better resume!

She-Said:  It might look pompous to some people but that to me is what makes our country different. No other countries come close in comparison. England has centuries of history on pomp. It is something we excel in and I take pride in being English. Don, I have lived most of my life here, seeing this respectful celebration of her life makes me proud.

Our Queen would not have ever compared herself to Jesus. Although the thousands of travelers have been likened to a pilgrimage by certain media sources. The pageantry has been amazing to watch. It was an incredible showing of unity, respect and a celebration of a life given to the crown.

He-Said: I don’t want to denigrate the royal Monarchy, but over 62 countries have told the crown to “Buzz-off!” From Canada, Kuwait, Jamaica, India, South Africa, and the United States. Connie, she is flat out not our Queen. Keep all that “Noise” on your side of the pond.

She- Said: That is true, still the world has been lavish in their praise of her Majesty. You must admit that it has been faultless from start to finish. Everyone taking part has shown dignity and commitment. The Monarchy has lasted for over 1,000 years dating back to the Norman Conquest 1066. Since then we have maintained our loyalty to the Crown!

He-Said: Wow, that was very passionate, and even warmed my cold Yankee heart. Long Live The King!
