    The Broward County Business and Professional Women’s Network, Inc. (BCBPWN) will host its 17th Annual Founders’ Day – Virtual Celebration on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at 3 p.m. This Year’s Founder’s Day celebrates 17 years of existence, “Moving Forward with a Purpose – Breaking Barriers.”

    The Annual Founder’s Day virtual event with special guest speaker and honoree, Lisa Davis, SoBe Food Festival DEI Consultant and former City of Miami Gardens Vice-Mayor, honors the organization’s founders and individuals who are greatly impacting our community. This year the Broward Business and Professional Women’s Network will honor the following women: Retired

    Educator and Principal, Gwendolyn C. Batie will receive the Sojourner Truth Award, NANBPWC,

    Inc’s highest honor, presented to a woman whose life parallels that of the historical leader, Author and Minister Darlene Davis-Hord, in religious leadership; Urban League President and CEO, Dr. Germaine Smith-Baugh, in Organizational Leadership; and founder of Hello911, Dominique Mathis will receive the Law Enforcement Hero Award. Scholarships will be awarded to high school graduating seniors Mr. Freddie Harris, Miami Carol City High School, and Mr. Frantz Isaac Charles of Mon-signor Edward Pace High School.

    The BCBPWN Annual Founders’ Day tickets are available online at Eventbrite.com (BCBPWN 17th ANNUAL FOUNDERS DAY 2022). In lieu of tickets, the network is accepting donations toward its 2022 scholarship awards.

    Broward County Business and Professional Women’s Network, Inc. is a 501c3 Non-profit Organization. BCBPWN is an affiliate of NANBPWC, Inc.’s Southeast District, organized in March 1958 in Montgomery, Ala. The Broward Business and Professional Women’s Network was founded by Ann McPhee Moorman in Broward County, Miramar, FL in 2004.

    NANBPWC, Inc, our National Association, was founded in 1935, by seven visionary women with a mission of promoting the interests of business and professional women and our youth, improving the quality of life in our communities.
