Broward County Supervisor of Elections, Joe Scott, has announced the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art facility on Friday Morning August 9, 2024.
The advanced center is set to serve as both an early voting site and a drop-off location for vote-by-mail ballots, marking a significant enhancement in the community’s electoral process by providing a more accessible and secure environment for voters.
The new facility is equipped with modern voting technology, expanded office space, and enhanced security measures. It aims to improve the efficiency and transparency of the election process. The office will be open for early voting and is currently available as a convenient drop-off point for Vote-By-Mail ballots. The facility’s operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, offering services such as voter registration and updates to voting information.
The opening of this new facility is a crucial development for our community in terms of transparency of the electoral process,” said Joe Scott, Broward County Supervisor of Elections. “Not only does it enhance our capacity to manage the election process, but it also provides a convenient and secure location for early voting and ballot drop-offs. We are committed to ensuring that every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.”
