Broward County Transit celebrated a major milestone in its journey towards a more sustainable future. The agency received a $25-million grant from the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Low or No Emissions grant program. The grant was awarded to support the transition to clean transit options, including electric buses.

With the help of this grant, Broward Transit is poised to lead the way in adopting cutting-edge transportation solutions, making a positive impact on the community and setting a model for other transit agencies to follow.
