In my opinion, I feel that the officer was in the wrong to shoot her because he could have tased her. In this case, Ma’Khia had a knife and force was an appropriate response; however, shooting her wasn’t necessary.

As the world tries to manage and control the growing cases of Covid-19, there is still an illness that continues to be an issue, HIV/AIDS. The AIDS Walk and Music Festival was cancelled in 2020 due to the influx of Covid-19 cases. This year’s comeback festival was sponsored by AHF and Wells Fargo.
