This year’s 2021 Olympics is the most watched and talked about topic right now. Additionally, this year’s Tokyo Olympics is showing Black excellence. The amount of Black athletes that are in the Olympics this year is amazing. So far, Team USA is doing great, and I pray they will perform to the best of their ability.
Former President Donald Trump’s legal team informed a court that he cannot afford to post a $464 million bond in a civil fraud case against him. This case, brought by the New York Attorney General’s office, alleges that Trump and his family business, the Trump Organization, misled lenders and insurers about the value of their properties. […]
Since this is all happening, The New Mount Olive Baptist Church, Mount Olive Development Corporation, Alpha Kappa Alpha-Zeta Rho Omega Chapter, Feeding South Florida hosted a food drive for those in the community who were in need of additional community resources. […]
A debate over whether religious people are more legally entitled to weekend days off from work than non-religious people has arisen because of an evangelical Christian former mail carrier’s battle with the U.S. Postal Service over his refusal to work on Sundays. The case gives the Supreme Court another opportunity to expand religious rights. […]
