Their legacy, forged through dedication to truth, community, and representation, is woven into the fabric of Sistrunk. We are deeply rooted, and we shall not be moved.
The Eighth Annual Beach Ball raised more than $750,000 for the Y’s water safety and drowning prevention programs. Over the years, these funds have provided swim lessons and water safety education to more than 175,000 children and families in the community. Formal swim lessons reduce the likelihood of childhood drowning by 88%.

Pompano Beach Arts invites you to explore the works of Jesse Shaw in his solo exhibition, American Epic, a series of linocut prints that delve into the narrative, satirical, and political landscape of American history. As part of the exhibition, visitors are invited to join a special workshop with the artist on November 8, 2024, at 6 pm.
