Largest African American Digital Archive Convenes Influential Leaders to Stem the Loss of Black History

     The HistoryMakers, the nation’s largest African American video oral history archive has made this loss prevention its mission over the past 20 years. Yet, it finds itself in 2020 — its 20th anniversary year, in a race against time. To increase public understanding and awareness of this crisis, The HistoryMakers is hosting a virtual convening of some of the nation’s top African American thought leadership. The Joint Center’s 50th Anniversary

     The Joint Center is hosting its 50th Anniversary celebration entitled The Eddie Williams Future of Black Com-munities Leadership Summit on December 7-9, 2020.
