It’s possible. Research shows that we are so divided into our tribes that we don’t really know each other. One study found Republicans believed 30 percent of Democrats are atheist or agnostic. The reality? Only eight percent of Democrats identified that way. Democrats believed that 38 percent of Republicans earn more than $250,000. The facts? Only two percent did.

Immediately after taking office in 2021, President Joe Biden committed to supporting minority populations by adopting an executive order promoting environmental and economic justice. In his order, the president pledged, “To secure an equitable economic future, the United States must ensure that environmental and economic justice are key considerations in how we govern.” In our Glades communities, which are so heavily dependent on jobs in agriculture, it seems recent federal actions related to providing water for our local businesses may conflict with the president’s ambitious goals.
Worse yet, the so-called mainstream media went berserk with the story. When he first ran, they’d asked: Is Biden too old to run? Since he won, they’ve asked: Is he too old to run again? Next, I guess, the question will be: When will he die?
America has devolved into a Fascists nation under the leadership of former president Trump, Hitler’s protégé. This dismantling isn’t due entirely to the emergence of Trump. Rather, it’s aided by the white supremacy ideology which remains a central core of America’s democracy.
Landlords routinely ignore judgments ordered by judges in municipal and other courts that hear landlord-tenant issues. They criminally neglect to maintain and repair heating and cooling systems, stoves, refrigerators, leaky windows, garbage disposals, and more.
Guess what, Republican infantile “leaders”? Even your own voters, as cult-like as they may be in rapt adoration of the least adorable leader imaginable, do not want to suddenly lose the basic functioning of the government that all our hard work funds. And even your own colleagues, such as Patrick McHenry (R-NC), call this completely avoidable and unnecessary.
BGLOs regularly band together to fight principalities, dark powers and wickedness in high places and to promote social justice, voting rights, and anti-poverty measures. And yet, over recent years, some Christians have denounced their BGLOs, publicly attacking them for being “idolatrous” in their use of symbolic Greek letters and for causing members to put loyalty to their organization above loyalty to their faith.
Monetary ignorance will continue to be the Black man’s burden until we listen to, or read about, ways to generate money for all Blacks in all countries.
For its victims, war is . . . yes, hell. For the rest of us — the onlooking and supportive patriots — war is an abstraction embedded in ignorance, a.k.a., public relations, served up for public consumption.
Uncertain opinions would lead to disagreement and eventually schisms, like the bitter and enduring break between the Shiite and Sunni sects of Islam and the Puritan, Calvinist, and other separatist groups within Christianity. Today there are more than 45,000 Christian sects worldwide and 200 in the US alone.
