        The city of Miami Gardens is ready to serve another edition of the Miami Open, one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) calendars. Set to take place from March 16-30 at Hard Rock Stadium, this 15-day event is widely regarded as the most glamorous stop on the tour, drawing in the world’s top players, celebrities, and sports enthusiasts. 

        Former Seattle SuperSonics legend Donald Earl “Slick” Watts has died at age 73. Watts, who earned his nickname for his shaved head, was a Sonics fan favorite who was known for his off-kilter headbands and his role as a proponent of Seattle basketball.

     The Wildcats will open the 2025 slate Aug. 30 at Pitbull Stadium against Florida International. The last match-up between the Wildcats and the Panthers occurred in 2014, when B-CU claimed a 14-12 win over the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent – the second of its kind in as many years against the Panthers.
