Little did we know that the very first offensive play from scrimmage, a 54 yard touchdown pass to meteoric wideout Tyreek Hill, would foreshadow a record setting offensive explosion that only true diehard Dolphins fans could have envision. The final 70-20  score perhaps provides a more definitive view of Miami’s dominance over a surprisingly inept, unfamiliar and unfocused Denver Bronco team reeling from two opening season losses prior to today’s debacle. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is certainly the undisputed leader of a team destined to accomplish great things in 2023-24.

“We had an opportunity to play Miami. We sputtered on offense and defensively our technique and fundamentals weren’t there, but the guys fought hard to the end,” said Head Coach Raymond Woodie, Jr. during a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) teleconference on Sept. 18.

Playing this game can expose people to different opportunities in education, coaching and other ventures for the future. Despite the racial disparity in the game, ice hockey gives Blacks chances to interact with other cultures on and off the ice socially.

Fisk University gymnast Morgan Price made the decision to not be the only Black woman on her team for the first time in her career. A five-star recruit while growing up in Dallas, Price earned a full athletic scholarship to the University of Arkansas when she decided to become a part of the first Historically Black College and University (HBCU) gymnastics program in the country earlier this year.

The Miami Dolphins defeated the New England Patriots 24-17 for its second consecutive road victory. The Dolphins were led by quarterback quarterback Tua Togavailo, an outstanding receiving corps and the running ability of Raheem Mostert, who finished with a 121 rushing yards, and 2 touchdowns on 18 carries.
