    Celebration of Life of Jonathan Bruce, Jr. 24. The son of Samuel Bruce and Tracye Wilkerson. Funeral services was held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Redeeming Word Christian Center with Dr. Ocie Reese officiating. Samuel became a member of the South Florida Express 7 on 7 football team, he briefly attendance at University School (U-School) was a Winning Year for the State Championship Football title. He attending St. Thomas Aquinas, bringing these skills to their State Championship teams of 2014 and 2015. Upon entering his Senior year, Samuel was selected to be a member of the most elite incoming football players of the class of 2016 by participating in Nikes, “The Opening”.

    In the Spring of 2021, Samuel was casted to be a football player in the motion picture, America’s Underdog, the Kurt Warner life story. In the Summer of 2021 Samuel graced the football field for what would  be his final showcase of the game he loved be being a member of the IFA Frisco Flyers.
