    City of Lauderdale Lakes Honors Veterans with Special Veterans Day Brunch

         LAUDERDALE, LAKES, FL –  The City of Lauderdale Lakes proudly hosted a heartfelt Veterans Day Brunch to honor the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of our community’s veterans. Held on [date of event], the gathering brought together veterans, family members, city officials, and residents to celebrate and express gratitude for our nation’s heroes.

     

    City of Lauderdale Lakes Elected Officials and City Staff share a moment with our Veterans at the Veterans’s Day Brunch.

    The brunch featured moving speeches from Mayor Veronica Edwards Phillips and Commissioners Tycie Causewell, Karlene Maxwell-Williams, and Sharron Thomas, each reflecting on the importance of recognizing those who served our country with bravery and commitment. Veterans in attendance were treated to a delicious meal and participated in a ceremonial recognition, sharing stories and memories that highlighted the city’s strong bond with its veteran community.

    “The City of Lauderdale Lakes stands united in honoring our veterans,” said Mayor Phillips. “We are grateful for their service and proud to come together as a community to celebrate their invaluable contributions to our freedom and way of life.”

    The City of Lauderdale Lakes thanks all who joined and contributed to making this event meaningful, reaffirming our commitment to support veterans and their families throughout the year.
