- We are expecting over 200 Veterans who will be presented Congressional Records, recognizing their service to our country. These remarks will be entered into the Official Congressional Record. They will then be permanently placed in the Library of Congress. These men and women put their lives on the line for us daily and don’t often get the recognition they deserve.
The Congresswoman wants to make sure they are recognized.
Congresswoman Wilson will also unveil the Congresswoman Frederica Wilson District 24 Federal Veterans Advisory Committee, which will keep abreast of issues affecting Veterans, recommend Legislation and ensure that Veterans get the services and help they need.
As you know hundreds of soldiers are returning home daily and have no idea where to go for help and services to get acclimated back into society.
