     USA

    33 million cases, 592,000 deaths

    Florida

    2.3 million cases, 94,123 total hospitalizations, 36,474 deaths

    Broward

    240,655 cases, 10,376 total hospitalizations, 3,052 deaths

    Update

    *New coronavirus infections have decreased dramatically over the last month. The US is reporting an average of 26,000 new infections daily.

    *Daily COVID-19 deaths have also decreased significantly over the last month. The average number of daily deaths in the US is 570.

      *39 % of the US population is fully vaccinated.

      *37% of Floridians are fully vaccinated.

    Advisory

    The risk of infection with coronavirus and the possibility of developing COVID-19 disease remain extremely high for people who are unvaccinated. Remaining vigilant against disease transmission is critical. Practice good COVID-19 control strategies

       *Observe social distancing guidelines (6 feet or more of separation from others).

       *Practice good hand hygiene (wash hands frequently with soap and warm water or use hand sanitizers)

       *Wear a mask when out in public if you are unvaccinated.
